Senior Mobile Architect

We are immediately seeking a Senior Mobile Applications Architect to lead the charge on several exciting projects/ initiatives that span across various functions and industries. Candidate will join a fast-paced environment to deliver enterprise-class software to diverse range of blue-chip clients.

About the Role

As a Senior Mobile Applications Architect, you will be involved in the definition, design, development, and deployment of mobile solutions for world-class brands. You will also be involved with the integration of on-device solutions with enterprise services (such as content management, analytics, and authentication and profile stores). You will collaborate with cross-functional project teams to produce award-winning user experiences and ensure seamless connectivity across mobile, tablet, and other channels.

As an integral part of the development team, you will also help drive the ongoing evolution of our enterprise mobility solutions and emerging technologies through mentorship and training of your peers. This role will be part of a larger team that works with all major mobile platforms.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with architecture, design, development, for mobile applications
• Must have a minimum of one year experience writing applications for iOS and/or Android devices (and be flexible to learning/working across both platforms)
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentor to junior mobile development team
• Experience with enterprise architecture and implementation (web services, databases, security), on platforms and technologies
• A passion for all mobile device technologies
• Experience throughout the mobile lifecycle: application development (application structure; device and operating system API’s; debugging; performance; security), deployment
• Familiarity with cross-platform solutions (HTML, PhoneGap, Appcelerator etc.)

Core Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience delivering Android or iOS applications
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Ability to build and refine internal and external mobile architectures and frameworks
• Solid Objective C skills or experience with Java and the Android SDK
• Familiar with UI design within the mobile environment
• Must be able to provide examples of applications in the App Store or provide sample code and/or UI examples of applications that are not public

Mobile Application Developer (iOS, Android, Mobile Web)

Solstice Mobile has several opportunities for developers that are excited about development within the mobile platform (iOS and Android). Our mobile developer opportunities range from junior to senior level development roles. You will be working on our client-facing projects in the mobile and enterprise software space. You will be given the opportunity to innovate using the latest mobile technology trends such as NFC, social media and collaboration, tablet computing and others. Solid communication skills, an analytical mind as well as the ability to multi-task between several projects are a must.

What You Will be Doing

• Building mobile web (HTML5, CSS), iOS (Objective C) and Android (Java) mobile applications
• Building enterprise applications
• Gaining technical knowledge of software, hardware and open source technologies
• Helping evaluate emerging cross platform frameworks and mobile enterprise application platform 
• Bridging gap between elegant front end design and existing enterprise back end architectures
• Working with experienced mobile developers and architects to foster your experience and growth.

Your Profile Includes

• Bachelors degree, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS/IT major preferred
• Previous experience with developing applications in iOS or/and Android
• Published apps a strong plus
• Strong programming background and familiarity with at least one Object Oriented language (i.e. either Java, C#, .NET, Objective-C or C++)

Business Development Specialist

As a Business Development Specialist, you will use your experience and skills to prospect, cultivate, and ultimately close business. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is excited to work in the mobile technology industry. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Develop, maintain, and expand your database of prospects within your pipeline
• Prospect corporate leads and self-generated opportunities
• Maintain a high level of Solstice Mobile solution expertise and competitive intelligence
• Identify decision-makers within targeted leads in order to initiate the sales process.
• Provide compelling value propositions and solution demos, in-person and via phone- emphasizing service features and benefits, discussing contract terms, quoting prices, and preparing proposals
• Develop sales plans in order to achieve individual and company goals
• Submit accurate and complete information in CRM system
• Provide regular updates to management regarding opportunities, trends and challenges
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota objectives
• Represent Solstice Mobile and yourself  in a highly professional manner 

Job Requirements: 

• At least 2 years of experience in a full-cycle technical sales role (i.e., Account Executive, Account Manager, Inside Sales, Telemarketing, Business Development, etc)
• A strong understanding of enterprise IT concepts and mobile technology
• A 4-year degree is desired, but not required
• The ability to prospect via phone and email
• Top notch listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to establish rapport at multiple levels of decision makers
• Skilled in negotiation and problem solving
• Experience managing sales cycles from prospect to proposal and close
• The ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
• Prominent organization, presentation and time management skills
• The capability to learn and apply product knowledge in a timely fashion
